Ethnic Market Sales Manager Needed - N Hollywood, CA

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented Ethnic Market Sales Manager to join our growing Fine Wine, Spirits and Specialty Foods importing and distribution company in Los Angeles, CA. The Sales Manager will report directly to the Key Account Sales Executive and will be responsible for Daily Sales Operations and Strategy, Product Presentation and Placement, Performance Management, Customer Relationship Management, Market Research, Merchandising, as well as Demos and Activations.

- Oversee day-to-day sales activities and ensure efficient operations
- Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
- Service existing accounts by maintaining positive business and customer relationships
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports weekly
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and merchandising techniques
- Conduct Wine & Spirits tastings for clients while providing education on wine varietals, production and characteristics
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Set sales goals, track performance, and provide feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Create visually appealing product displays and ensure proper shelf placement.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and manage product flow.
- Implement promotional strategies and execute sales events.
- Assist customers with their purchases and address inquiries.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
